Struggling with an addiction can be one of the most difficult journeys of someone’s life. Often, by the time someone reaches out for help, the addiction may have already damaged the person’s relationships, their work life, their financial security, and/or their physical, mental, and/or spiritual health. The road to recovery can seem overwhelming, if not impossible. Hope can be elusive.
My goal is to bring hope to what often feels like a hopeless situation. Through my work with clients struggling with addictions, I focus on individual strengths and resilience. I help clients challenge negative self-talk and self-defeating behaviors, and learn ways to love themselves, sometimes for the very first time in their lives.
I work to meet clients where they are at, and I embrace an individualized approach to working with every client. Some clients seek sobriety; some take a harm-reduction approach. I work with clients on all levels of that spectrum, and I honor and support the autonomy of each individual in my care.
The clients I work with can struggle with drug and/or alcohol addictions as well as behavioral or process addictions. Some of the areas I work with include:
· Alcohol Use Disorder
· Substance Use Disorder
· Compulsive Gambling or Gambling Addiction
· Internet Addiction
· Video Gaming Addiction
· Shopping Addiction
· Food Addiction
· Sex Addiction
· Pornography Addiction
If you see yourself here, please know it would be my honor to walk with you on your path of healing and recovery. Please contact me to schedule a free 10-minute phone consultation.
